What we check, and what we don't claim
A new marketplace has no volume to boast about. What it can have is a verification process it genuinely follows, and the discipline not to publish numbers it has not earned.
What we check
Before a partner gets work
Business identity
GSTIN, PAN, registered business address and bank account, collected at registration and checked against the uploaded documents by a person.
Vehicle documents
Registration certificate, insurance, fitness and PUC, each with its expiry date recorded rather than just a file on record.
Temperature capability
Every vehicle declares the band it can hold. Matching enforces containment at both ends, so a −22°C load never reaches a unit that bottoms out at −18°C.
Transparent pricing
One all-inclusive figure, valid until the date on the quote. Nothing is added after you accept.
Proof of delivery
Receiver name, timestamp, remarks and a photo, attached to the booking and downloadable whenever your accounts team needs it.
A record to escalate from
Every booking has a reference and a full timestamped status history, so a query has somewhere to start rather than a memory of a phone call.
What we don't claim
Four things you will not find on this site
Vehicle or partner counts
No “10,000+ vehicles” banner. When those figures are worth quoting they will be counted from the platform itself, and until then their absence is the honest answer.
Indicative rates
No published price ranges per route. Any figure we invented would be wrong for most loads on that lane, and a business that budgets off a made-up number finds out at the worst possible moment.
Live temperature we cannot see
If the assigned vehicle has no sensor fitted, the shipment page says so. It does not show an empty chart implying readings are on their way.
Instant booking that is not instant
The button says “Request Quotes” because at that moment no transporter has confirmed anything. It becomes a real booking when a partner's quote is accepted.
The marketplace boundary
ColdRun is a technology marketplace. We do not own vehicles or cold storage, and we do not employ drivers. Every shipment is carried by an independent, verified transport partner. That distinction is not a disclaimer bolted on the bottom of a page — it is how the business works, and it is why the verification above matters as much as it does.
